Bali Dental Tourism

People flock to Bali–and dozens of other medical tourism destinations in Asia—because of the high quality of care that's delivered in facilities that are on par with some of the best back home. Prices in Bali are so much lower that people don’t mind traveling to get their work carried out under the care of our background-checked dentists; this is especially true for the more expensive procedures, like implants, where patients can often save thousands even when taking into consideration flight and accommodation expenses.

A recent medical tourism survey listed in the Medical Tourism Index found that most people who travel long distances for medical work do so because of the quality of care and the affordable rates they can enjoy. In recent years, as prices for dental and medical care have skyrocketed, an increasing number of people are traveling abroad for care while taking the opportunity to enjoy a holiday at the same time.

Visiting Bali for Dental Work Combined with a Holiday

Bali is a great place for a holiday thanks to its tropical climate, stunning volcanic landscape and golden-sanded beaches. It is fairly warm throughout the year and if you love beaches, then Bali, being an island, has plenty to choose from—as well as a few interesting smaller islands just off the coast. It also offers a range of water-based activities including swimming, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, jet-skiing and more. If it is the land that beckons, then the mountain and volcanoes in and around Bali offer a variety of activities and adventures, including mountain climbing, trekking, hiking and other activities.

With numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites, there are activities aplenty to occupy days or weeks of sightseeing in Bali. The Jatiluwih Rice Terraces are a must-visit site, embodying the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana or the togetherness of the spirit, nature and human. You'll also find countless Hindu temples in Bali, two of which having been designated as UNESCO sites.

Bali is also famous (and infamous) as a party destination, with nightlife to rival the best in Asia. It has hundreds of bars, lounges and clubs—although you may want to indulge in this lively scene before you head to your dentist, especially if you are having more complex work done.

The island is also known for its shopping and you can pick up everything from high-end clothes and other branded goods to handicrafts, art and antiques at a fraction of the price compared to back home.
