Established in 1994 by Dr. Do Dinh Hung, DDS, PhD, Worldwide Dental & Cosmetic Surgery Hospital (originally “Dr. Hung & Associates Dental Center”) was the first facility of its type in Ho Chi Minh City to follow the US dental clinic model. This was made possible thanks to Dr. Hung’s time in the US where he attended a Master's program in dentistry at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Houston, Texas.

During this time, Dr. Hung had a chance to visit various dental clinics across the States, soon realizing his mission would be to bring the same international standards of care to Vietnam.

After returning to Vietnam, Dr. Do Dinh Hung, together with his associates, established the first dental clinic in Vietnam that followed the same model of a US dental clinic. Consistently gaining 5-star ratings from patients booking through Dental Departures, as of 2017, they have treated patients from 49 different countries around the world, as well as patients across dozens of Vietnamese provinces.

Stemming from its success, Dr. Hung has now developed a new mission: to put Vietnamese dentistry and dental tourism on the worldwide map, competing with well-known dental clinics in developed countries.

In 2018, together with a team of plastic surgeons and dermatologists who share the same vision, Dr. Hung upgraded Dr. Hung & Associates Dental Center to Worldwide Dental & Cosmetic Surgery Hospital. They have further invested in the center’s infrastructure and increased the number of professionals working under the same roof–all while following strict hospital standards to ensure they provide the best possible care and optimal results for all of their patients.

Worldwide Dental & Cosmetic Surgery Hospital is proud to be the first dental clinic in Vietnam approved by the Ministry of Health to be upgraded to a dental and cosmetic surgery hospital. This facility now provides more than 1,200 different services in three different departments: dental and maxillofacial surgery, cosmetic surgery and dermatology, all of which boast numerous hi-tech services and state-of-the-art technology for producing safe, accurate treatment outcomes.

Worldwide Dental & Cosmetic Surgery Hospital specializes in full mouth restorations (either with crowns or dental implants), high-tech dentistry and pain-free dentistry. Their expert team is experienced in working on many complex cases related to occlusion conditions, severe tooth loss, edentulous patients, maxillofacial surgery, immediate implant placement, and more.

In addition, as a registered, fully functional hospital, this clinic is permitted to perform procedures under sedation and general anesthesia, which helps patients feel no pain during the treatment process. They use the latest and greatest technology in each of their treatments, which helps shorten recovery times and prevent errors.

For example, using x-rays from CT cone beam technology allows doctors to identify all problems and potential issues before treatment commences, while a 3Shape TRIOS® intraoral scanner / iTero® intraoral scanner allows doctors to take digital impressions.

The center’s technicians use implant design software to identify the correct size and placement of dental implants, which can be used to support crowns or tailor-made, full-arch bridges. Their in-house dental lab uses CAD/CAM technology to create patients’ final crowns, bridges and dentures, while a Fotona® laser machine helps promote fasting healing times around the affected surgical site.
