Having been in Dubai for many years, and frequenting a great dentist, he eventually retired. I decided I didn't need to go to get my usual 6 month scale and polish as I thought I'd manage it myself with regular brushing to keep my oral hygiene in check. After a few years of not going I experienced pain in my teeth and trying to save cash at the time as I thought it would be too expensive to treat, I let it go until the inevitable happened. Then I had to go for the first time in years and discovered Crossroads Dental Clinic due to their location near me. When I visited them they discovered a few issues, mainly because of the lack of regular maintenance that needed urgent attention. Namely, an abscess including 2 wisdom tooth extractions, a crown that was old and needed replaced and a root canal that was required to save a molar together with a new crown that was required thereafter. Doctor Sajida Farhat, together with Doctor Deleza Vaz initiated an intense scale and polish of my teeth/gums to allow the improvements to take place and then root canal with Doctor Shashank Babel. They explained everything to me, clearly and compassionately and they always made me feel at ease and comfortable with the minimum of concerns or pain. After the essential and repair work was executed I explained to Doctor Sajida that I wanted to discuss getting veneers as I was unhappy with the colour of my teeth and she presented me with a number of options and costs for types of veneers that I could have based on tone, finish, and quality. Once we decided on the type I wanted and agreeing the cost, of which I received a realistic discount, the moulds of my teeth were sent to their lab same day and all was completed within 10 days of selection including fitting, modification, scale and polish of the new veneers and final completion. Bear in mind that this was all done right between Christmas Eve and the New Year period of 2024/25 and I was very impressed at the fact that this was accomplished during the festive holiday period without any delays. I believe the timescale could be within a few days quicker but as this was during a holiday period it was impressive. When I saw the finished product I had to give the doctor a big hug as I told her that she has changed my life. This may sound like a bit of an Instagram statement and please be assured I'm not a major social media guy, but it really has. Every time I look in the mirror now it makes me want to smile and it has completely changed my face. I did this for me, not for anyone else and what an improvement it has made to the way I feel. I cannot thank Doctor Sajida, Doctor Deleza, Doctor Shashank and all of the dental nurses and that supported them as the team that made my mouth feel like new. They fixed all of my problems efficiently, effectively and they have given me a new outlook. I will never again miss a scale and polish every few months as I have learned through experience that you cannot manage proper dental hygiene yourself. It is a very important thing and if you ever think about leaving it, don't, as I have learned through experience that if you look after your teeth, your teeth will look after you. Please consider Crossroads Dental Clinic for any dental treatment that you need as from the lovely lady on reception, medical checks, assistance, nurses and doctors, they are very, very good at what they do at convenient locations around Dubai and at very reasonable prices. I cannot thank them enough.
