Led by Dra. Brenda A. Sierra Romero, Casa de la Sonrisa’s team of specialists provides personal attention, mindful of the fact that prevention of any dental issues is always a much better alternative than allowing them to manifest in the first place.

Dentists at Matamoras’ Smile House aim to practice minimally invasive dentistry comprising diagnosis, prevention and treatment, as well as addressing diseases and conditions in their early stages before they progress and subsequently require additional treatment, costing more money.
Having graduated from Mexico’s University of Nuevo León, the English and Spanish-speaking Dra. Brenda A. Sierra Romero went on to specialize in orthodontics—the field of dentistry that involves correcting the alignment of the teeth—and is a fully registered member and partner of the Mexican Dental Association and the College of Dentists of Matamoros A.C.
The team’s overall dental expertise covers a number of areas, including orthodontics, endodontics, maxillofacial surgery and pediatric dentistry, as well as general dentistry; procedures are performed within a modern, hygienic clinic, equipped with the latest technology for accurate diagnoses and treatment.
Located only a few blocks from the international bridge connecting Mexico with the United States (over the famous Rio Grande River), La Casa de la Sonrisa offers a free shuttle service to and from the border, allowing dental tourists to leave their car on the US side of the border at one of the affordable, secure parking lots.
Brownsville also has a small airport (Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport), with flights generally arriving here from the larger cities in Texas.
