พฤษภาคม 2023Dr Prada was recommended to me by a family friend when I knew I was in need of having a full mouth restoration; four implants upper and lower arch. With that recommendation I began researching and learning more about Dr Prada and his dental practice. I decided from the information I’d learned from my research and the reviews I’d read that Dr Prada’s office was where I would begin the consultation and treatment I needed. I was nervous about having the procedure done, worried about going out of the country and because of the high cost I’d been quoted in California, I was concerned about the cost. I know now that making the decision to see Dr Prada and his staff was the best decision I could have made! My treatment required two visits to San Jose, CR, about 5 months apart. We met with Dr Prada in May for a consultation and also Dr. Gonzales, the oral surgeon who would remove my remaining teeth. From the moment we met Dr Prada and saw his beautiful, pristine modern office I knew I was in good hands for the surgery and the work I needed done. My worries dissipated. Dr Prada has the latest of technology and dental equipment often far more than I’d had at other offices near home. He was gracious, knowledgeable and explained the procedure throughly leaving me feeling ready to do the work I’d put off for a couple of years. Both he and all members of his staff are fluent English speakers. I started by communicating with his travel assistant, Karol. We emailed and phoned back and forth any time I had a question. And it seemed I had lots of questions. Karol answered my concerns and helped make some of our reservations for our hotel. We were met at the airport with a driver at midnight, and arrived at the Aparthotels for our 2 week stay, just a 10 minute walk from Dr Prada’s offices. So convenient and reasonably priced. Our stay included breakfast each morning, a one bedroom suite and a beautiful property to relax at between appointments, all in pretty neighborhood of Escazu. Each visit to Costa Rica was planned for 10 days with appointments. I left Costa Rica after 10 days with fixed temporary dentures. Over the next 5 months my gums would heal, the implants would become more stable and we would return for the second half of the procedure. We were excited to returned in late October for the our visit and my new permanent set of teeth. Everything went as planned and again a 10 day span of appointments. Dr Prada is a perfectionist in his work and with his own in house lab he is able to make any adjustments easily and timely. Now, 3 months later I am so happy to say that everything has been just as I hoped! My teeth are comfortable, I’m able to eat foods I’ve stayed away from for so many years and my smile is perfect, completely me. I recommend Dr Prada and his Staff of extremely qualified dentists for any work you may need. The cost of having this done is more than half of what I’d been quoted in the US. The price, the quality and the experience of Dr Prada is outstanding. On our second visit we stayed an extra week to celebrate the completion of my dental work and joined a Caravan Tour of western Costa Rica, fantastic to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside and beaches.

A little more expensive than other places but more than worth it as I have had no problems. Dr Prada takes his time and consults with his other doctors to make the perfect decision. After all, this wasn't investment for me, I wanted the best. And that's what I got.

I consulted Dr. Prada in connection with a full mouth reconstruction consisting of crowns on substantially all of my teeth and included raising my rear molars to correct my bite. The procedures were conducted over a period of a little over two weeks. Dr. Prada was excellent - I could not be happier. Dr. Prada is an extremely professional, communicative and patient prosthodontist. He took a great deal of time and care with my treatments and the results are better than I could have hoped for. His integrity is impeccable. Dr. Prada and every one of the other dentists that assisted, including Drs. Marin and Gonzalez, were also excellent and caring. Each member of staff speaks excellent English, including Karol, the patient coordinator. The clinic has the most up to date technologies and is very modern. The clinic is located in Escazu, a nice neighborhood. One huge advantage is that Dr. Prada has a laboratory at the same facility where they make, among other things, dental implants and crowns for Dr. Prada's own practice and other dental practices in Costa Rica. The quality of the crowns is exceptional. Also, a further advantage of the clinic is that it has dentists in-house from multiple specialties, all of whom are very capable in their own fields. Of course, the cost of all of my treatments was substantially lower than the estimate I received in the U.S.; however, I intend returning to DDS primarily because of their high level of professionalism and customer care.

Dr. Prada and Dr. Gonzales were skillful and patient, Karol the patient coordinator and the entire clinical staff was very professional and friendly, the facility was very clean and comfortable. Best dental experience I've had. I would highly recommend this practice for dental work. The prices were unbeatable!! although not the cheapest in town but quality of work is superb.

ธันวาคม 2020I have been going to Dr Prada and his colleagues at DDS Dental for two years. I had one dental implant and efforts were made to do another. Unfortunately, the other one did not take, despite three tries by Dr. Gonzalez, the dental surgeon who works there. It seems to be a problem of my body rejecting the implant. So they proposed a small device with a modelled tooth attached, so that there would not be a nasty space between my teeth. I was hesitant at first, but it seemed the only option. Truly professional, they crafted the device, and I adjusted to it within hours. While I was charged (reasonably)for the first implant and preparations for the second, they did not charge me for the device because the other procedures had failed. I was and am truly amazed at this gesture and have nothing but praise for DDS Dental!
