ธันวาคม 201903-02-2020 Dr Eric Figueroa performed an implant, in the office of DDS Javier Catalan, who set me up with Dr Figueroa, without telling me he was bringing in someone other than himself to do the implant, not did DDS Javier Catalan inform me that I would be paying for the implant, as he had told me on the Saturday prior, that the implant was covered under Dr Catalan's 2 year warranty, as stated on the receipt from December of 2018. The reason for the implant was due to defective and deficient work on the part of DDS Javier Catalan, as his post placement broke through the root and caused infection and required tooth extraction in February of 2019. This is recorded on CT scan and I have the extracted tooth, where the damage is visible. The implant was placed on December 30, 2019, and came out on or about February 20, 2020, while I was eating raisins, chewing on the opposite side of the mouth at that. Dr Eric Figueroa used me as a subject in a training session, which he did not inform me of to begin with, then he departed from good dental practice and did not stitch the gums over the implant to heal over the implant, which would have sealed it in. Instead, he left the implant exposed for the gums to not seal and hold the implant firmly in place, which would allow adequate healing and bonding of the implant to the jawbone. The implant is very small and I do not think the correct size was used for a molar application. I sent an email to their dental office, notifying them of the failure of the implant and inquiring about the warranty, and I have not had a reply. Therefore I am making public inadequate, deficient and defective dental work, along with negligence in providing warranty on dental work. Which practice is actually in violation of the Mexico Federal Consumer Protection Law, because all of that information is to be given to the patient in writing -- it was not done.

ธันวาคม 2015Fantastic quality. As good or better than my dentist in Canada at a fraction of the price. I'm an RN with years of experience seeing dental procedures among others and I had implants in Canada done by a dentist whose work I had seen and knew was excellent. The Figueroas did the procedure exactly the same as my dentist at home with exactly the same outcome but at about 25% of what it cost me at home . Dr. Laura, Dr, Gonzalo and their son Dr. Eric are all fantastic.
