I had three implants done in the USA and was looking for a dentist in Cozumel, where I visit frequently. I needed a 5-tooth bridge to go over the 3 implants. I thought I was saving $7,000 by doing this. When I first walked into his office, I was taken aback and should have run, but I stayed. The bridge turned out to be horrible. I keep cutting my tongue on it. My mouth is lopsided, because the bridge is too narrow and does not match the width of my teeth on the other side of my mouth. When I went to my regular dentist for a cleaning, she asked me who did my bridge. She told me in no uncertain terms what she thought about it. So I am going back to Cozumel, to another dentist with a 100% guarantee of satisfaction, but still, the trip and all will cost me another $5,000. Be careful with getting dental work done outside the USA. Get references first. That's how I found another dentist, she did great work on a friends of mine.
