I was referred to Cancun Dental Care and received excellent care from the minute I entered to the completion of my procedure. The office has state of the art dental equipment and an excellent staff who is dedicated and compassionate. Dr. Jonathan Tlalmis Zempoalteca quickly diagnosed my condition, which was more complex than I expected. While in the office I contacted my dentist who spoke with him and recommended that I have the procedure.
I was refreshingly treated like a celebrated family member vs ' 1 more mouth ' like in the states . From a charming member of their staff greeting & picking me up at the airport to state of the art equiptment the dentistry is equal to the best in the US ...but the genuine concern & down to earth attitude of the staff impressed me most . I also was shocked that the Dr told me he could do what I needed in a LESS expensive way ! Such honesty & care for the person vs the dollar is beyond rare anymore . I speak zero Spanish & was nervous to trust any medical care done out of the country but as soon as I started texting w them I felt confident enough to book the appointment w them . If u have hesitations don't ! I only wish we had care this good in the states for any price .... never mind $350 for a crown & $300 for a root canal ! Plus transportation to & from every appointment is included ... no hidden fee ( tipping is appreciated of coarse but not mandatory ) This group of people & their sincerity was THE best part of my trip ...& that's saying a lot since I hate dentists so much I have to be sedated ! So stop reading reviews & just DO it !!!!
I had 8 crowns and 10 fillings put in 2 years ago by this dentist his name is xavier, they are still all perfect, so I took my whole family there this Christmas to nw years 2024 for a week they filled 19 cavities on my son, and my wife did all on 4 implant. We asked that they use zirconia for all crowns xavier is a specialist and he did a great job they had to do surgery on her mouth first to pull out a root that an American dentist left in her bone that caused her a lot of problems, then they did bone grafting, they have an anesthesiologist there and put my wife to sleep to do the surgery and the bone grafting and removing the rest of the teeth that was so good she didn't feel a thing , she recovered real well they took her back to a resort, two days later they put in her temporary teeth while the gums all heal and the bone graft heals, we're going back in July to put in her permanent teeth, they are very friendly the receptionist girl is very helpful, Alan is the manager and offered us discounts to make it worth a trip down there , there is a hospital in the same building , and Nadia did the filling for my son and also assists in driving us to and from the resort she was very happy to help even took us to a pharmacy to fill the prescriptions and charged us nothing, Christmas is theire slow time. it was really good for us to make it a dental vacation. Their equipment seemed more high-tech than our dentist here in the US has for example 3D mouth scanners so I could my whole mouth full of teeth in 3d very impressive, and they will test your bone density as well to see if your bone is strong enough to support the implants. After July when we go and get the permanent implants installed I will modify this review if something changes on how they treat us.
I needed a root canal after being in the most pain of my life from a tooth infection due to an improper filling/onlay from my US dentist. I drove from tulum for the root canal, after a poor dentist experience trying to fix the problem in tulum. This was the best dental experience of my life!!! I have extreme dental anxiety… the anesthesia always gets me, but it was COMPLETELY painless here. They were so considerate. The manager Alan is very kind. The dentist, the specialist - all fantastic. No need to worry under their care🙏🏻 10/10 recommend.
Nice staff and helpful!
