About Dental Holbein

Dental Holbein is a modern, full-service clinic in Mexico City trusted by travelers from the United States and Canada. The team welcomes international patients for everyday care and complex cases, including veneers, crowns, implants from single-tooth to full-arch, dentures, braces and aligners, and root canals.

Patients appreciate the clinic’s contemporary setting, 3D/CT imaging, digital X-rays, and an onsite dental laboratory that helps accelerate turnaround on veneers, crowns, and other prosthetics. To simplify dental travel, Dental Holbein can arrange airport transfers and hotel-to-clinic pickups on request.

Why Choose Dental Holbein?

  • 5-star feedback: Consistent 5.00/5 satisfaction from past patients.
  • Advanced technology: 3D/CT scanning, digital X-rays, and an onsite lab for faster, more precise work.
  • Broad treatment menu: Preventive and cosmetic dentistry, restorative work, root canals, orthodontics with clear and metal braces, Invisalign®, implants, sinus lifts, and bone grafting.
  • Travel-friendly services: Optional airport and hotel transfers, clear estimates, and step-by-step scheduling for short visits.
  • Central capital location: Located in Mexico City with easy access from Benito Juárez International Airport, MEX.

Treatments & Technology

The clinical scope covers checkups and cleanings, tooth-colored fillings, inlays and onlays, professional whitening, porcelain and zirconia crowns, porcelain and composite veneers, dentures and partials, simple and surgical extractions, endodontics for anterior, premolar, and molar root canals, orthodontics with conventional and Damon® braces, clear braces, Invisalign®, and implant dentistry from single implants to full-arch solutions.

Complex implant cases are supported by digital planning, 3D/CT imaging, and, where needed, supportive procedures like sinus lifts and bone grafts. The onsite lab can shorten waiting times for fixed teeth, which is helpful when you are planning around flights.

Location & Getting There

Fly into Mexico City International Airport, MEX. From the terminals, use an authorized airport taxi kiosk inside the arrivals hall or a rideshare app, such as Uber, DiDi, or Cabify, to reach the clinic area. Typical ride time to central neighborhoods is 25–45 minutes depending on traffic.

If you prefer public transport, the city’s Metrobús and Metro networks connect the airport with key hubs. Most international patients opt for door-to-door car service for convenience.

What to Expect as an International Patient

  • Clear planning: You will receive a written plan with materials, steps, and the number of visits.
  • Fast lab work: The onsite lab can speed up crowns, veneers, and reduce interim time.
  • Help with logistics: Request airport transfers and hotel-to-clinic pickups when booking.
  • Plain-language explanations: If terms like abutment, sinus lift, or osseointegration appear in your plan, the team explains each in everyday language before you start.

FAQs

1. What languages are spoken at Dental Holbein?

The clinic regularly hosts international patients and provides English-language support in addition to Spanish. If you need another language, ask your Dental Departures advisor to confirm availability with your quote so arrangements can be made ahead of time.

2. Where is the clinic and how do I reach it from the airport?

Dental Holbein is in Mexico City with easy access from Benito Juárez International Airport, MEX. After landing, use an authorized airport taxi kiosk inside arrivals or a rideshare app such as Uber, DiDi, or Cabify. Typical door-to-door travel time is 25–45 minutes, depending on traffic and your hotel location. Your advisor can share a pinned meeting point and itinerary tips with your booking.

3. What treatments are available?

General dentistry includes exams, cleanings, and fillings. Cosmetic work includes whitening and veneers. The clinic also provides crowns and bridges with porcelain and zirconia, endodontics for root canals, dentures and partials, oral surgery with extractions, orthodontics with metal, clear, and Damon® braces plus Invisalign®, and dental implants from single-tooth to full-arch. Supportive procedures such as sinus lifts and bone grafts are also provided when needed.

4. Do treatments come with a warranty or guarantee?

Yes. Eligible procedures and materials are covered by a written guarantee. Ask your Dental Departures advisor to include Dental Holbein’s current warranty document in your quote so you know how long coverage lasts, what is included, and any aftercare, such as hygiene visits, required to keep it valid.

5. What payment types are accepted?

Payment methods are confirmed on your Dental Departures quote. Many Mexico City clinics accept cash and major credit cards, but card policies and any processing fees can vary. If paying by card, notify your bank before travel and confirm daily limits and any foreign-transaction fees.

6. How many visits will I need?

Simple treatments, such as cleanings, small fillings, and single crowns, may be completed in 1–3 days. Veneers and multi-unit crowns often take a few days due to lab work. Implants are typically staged, with surgical placement first, then a healing phase and a return visit for final teeth. Your written plan will set expectations so you can book flights and hotels with confidence.

7. Is Invisalign® available?

Yes. The orthodontic team provides clear aligners, including Invisalign® Full, Lite, and i7, alongside clear, metal, and Damon® braces. You will receive a case assessment to confirm candidacy, timelines, and the number of aligners or adjustments expected.

8. What does an onsite dental lab mean for me?

Having a lab in the clinic can speed up work like crowns, veneers, and certain repairs. That can reduce the number of days between tooth preparation and try-in or placement, which is especially helpful for a short stay.

9. Can the clinic help with airport or hotel transfers?

Yes. Airport transfers and pickups between your hotel and the clinic can be arranged on request. Mention this when you ask for a quote so your itinerary and appointment times line up.

And the winner is... You can decide for yourselves, but I think Mexico's dental services are so much better than those in the United States of America. Really, I think all of the advertising regarding how much better things are across the border has made Mexicans a little insecure about their level of healthcare. Let me start by saying I've had many different types of healthcare providers. Once I had a luxury plan, essentially a plan that requires me to pay nothing for visits, and offered free wisdom teeth removal at a specialist. I've had HMOs, which are the EE. UU.'s version of medium coverage. As long as nothing goes too poorly with your health they cover everything, but get cancer or something, and they've been known to abandon "ship." I've had government-subsidized insurance as well. If you can find a dentist that accepts this type of insurance you're lucky, and the client will pay fifty percent of the costs themselves. In summary, people in the EE UU have dramatically different experiences depending on their jobs. So, I decided to try some dental services in Mexico, at a personal cost of 100 percent for the services. At this location, the dental assistants and the "doctor" (is there a doctor in the building?) were so nice. Honestly, I felt like they were over-explaining everything in an effort to legitimize their services. They clearly have no idea that standard dental cleaning services in America have been degraded to Western Dental, a.k.a. barbershop, levels of service. They took before and after photos, used the latest tools, and asked for feedback the entire time. It made me feel special. They really have no idea what it's like to have your teeth roughly scraped by steel instruments for your entire life. To get the service I received here, a two-hour cleaning with cutting-edge tech, it cost me the same in cash as it does the EE UU with above-average insurance. There's no competition for basic services. I don't know how much root canals and more advanced services cost, but for the basics, it's unbeatable.

Dr Gracia was amazing. Her English was perfect so I wasn't worried with my below-average Spanish. She was friendly, direct, and to the point. She did amazing work, very quickly, pain-free, and made me feel very relaxed. I would recommend 1000 times. My teeth are much better!! Thank you

10/10 best dental experience. I visited CDMX from US and wanted some veneers in a short amount of time. They took me in on short notice and did exceptional work for a very reasonable price. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and explained everything very clearly (and in English). Don’t go anywhere else!
