Grupo Dental Arbo brings the experience of a successful Mexico City practice to the heart of Mérida, a safe, welcoming colonial city on the Yucatán Peninsula. The newly built sister clinic is ultra-modern and minimalist, designed to feel calm and uncluttered while housing the latest digital technology for efficient diagnostics, clear treatment plans and predictable outcomes.
Led by Dr. Carolina Zozaya, a specialist in implantology and prosthodontics and a member of the American Prosthodontics Society, the team covers everything from routine prevention to complex full-arch rehabilitation. Care is coordinated under one roof so travelers can move from consultation to treatment with fewer hand-offs and tighter timelines.
Dr. Carolina Zozaya is a DDS with a specialty in prosthodontics and implantology. She is a Certified Prosthodontist and a member of the American Prosthodontics Society.

Yes. The clinic issues written warranties for lab-made restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers and dentures, and honors implant manufacturer coverage where applicable. You’ll receive the current warranty terms for your exact plan before treatment.
Grupo Dental Arbo sits in central Mérida near major hotel and dining zones. From Mérida International Airport, expect 20–30 minutes by Uber, Didi or taxi. If you’re already in the historic center, most rides are 5–15 minutes. Your confirmation includes a GPS pin, landmarks and the best curbside drop-off.
The clinic accepts Visa, Mastercard, JCB, cash and bank transfers. For lab-intensive work, such as multiple crowns, veneers or full-arch cases, your advisor can confirm deposit policies, card processor fees and currency details in advance.
Consultations and aftercare can be handled in English and Spanish. French is also available with Dr. Zozaya. If you need another language, mention it at booking so support can be arranged.
Surgical placement is typically completed in one visit, with healing time before the final bridge or crown. Lab phases for abutment and crown or fixed acrylic and porcelain bridges are then scheduled. Your plan will show day-by-day steps, including try-ins where needed.
Crowns and veneers generally require 5–10 days for porcelain or zirconia work to allow scanning, shade selection, lab fabrication and adjustments. Immediate dentures or temporary plates can be delivered sooner, while definitive dentures typically take 1–3 weeks depending on the design.
Yes. Your coordinator clusters diagnostics early in your trip and groups preparation and fitting steps, then times delivery or check-ins near your departure, adjusting where clinically appropriate to minimize downtime.

I am happy to have located this amazing group of dentist! All of my, and my children's, needs were met. The professionalism was apparent through each of my visits. The overall cost, attention to detail, explanation of what I required, services rendered created an atmosphere that made a typically stressful situation far more pleasant. I am very happy with all of the time and attention that was paid to restoring the health of my specific dental needs. I look forward to returning in the future for a vacation as well as to return to a space where I am certain to receive the care that I desire with professionalism that is unmatched. The extent to which the services were explained left me feeling more included in the process and aware of exactly what to expect. No surprises, complete inclusion in my care was a game changer. I cannot thank this team enough for our overall great experience.
The dentist was awesome! A real artist! Thank you
The whole experience was seamless. The doctor and her assistant were great. I’m already recommending them to friends.
I highly recommend Dr. Zozaya. She and her staff are professional, friendly, and caring. As a new patient, I was hoping for the best and the care I received exceeded my expectations. Dr. Zozaya is fluent in English, her offices are clean and she employs the latest technology. Following the initial exam, she developed a treatment plan and I returned for two additional appointments during my stay in Merida. The quality of care and cost savings vs the same treatment in NYC make this a win/win! I plan to relocate to Merida in the future, but until then I will continue to make the trip to to see Dr. Zozaya for dental care. Also, If you are in Centro her office is easily accessible via buses going North or taxi/Uber.
After doing extensive research to have my toothache checked out, Grupo Dental Bosques was the best choice. Not only did they have the highest ratings, this clinic is an extension of the extremely successful main branch in Mexico City. The Merida clinic is run by Dr. Carolina Zozaya who is an expert in her field and up to date with the latest in dentistry. What would have taken weeks in America, took only two visits. I had two cavities, an x ray, temporary crown & filling a new crown and inlay for less than a fraction of what it would cost in the United States. Having dental work done here has also opened my eyes to having any future dental work done here. I just can’t say enough about the quality of work I received. I’m still impressed at the whole experience. She was able to fix my tooth the same day of the X-ray and examination. This alone was a relief. The office is spotless clean with state of the art equipment. My fiancé had a deep cleaning done and was also impressed with the clinic. The deep cleaning was less than half the price of a regular cleaning in America. I would come once a year just for the deep cleaning. This clinic was the right choice for us. M
