Jireh Dental Specialties is a traveler-friendly clinic in Nuevo Progreso, Tamaulipas—steps from the Progreso–Nuevo Progreso International Bridge on the Texas border. The clinic draws day-trippers from the Rio Grande Valley and visitors from across the U.S. Established in 2018, it’s less than half a block from the pedestrian crossing and close to shops, cafés, and the Progreso Market—ideal if you want efficient appointments and easy walking access.
The team covers general, cosmetic, restorative, and surgical dentistry under one roof. Common treatments include exams and ultrasonic cleanings; tooth-colored composite fillings; in-office laser whitening and take-home kits; crowns and veneers (porcelain, zirconia, PFM); bridges; full and partial dentures (acrylic, metal, and flexible frames); extractions (simple and surgical/impacted); root canal therapy (including post/core build-ups); and dental implants—from single teeth to full-arch solutions such as implant-supported overdentures and implant-supported porcelain bridges. Panoramic X-rays and CT/3D imaging are available on-site to support precise planning. If terms like “abutment,” “overdenture,” or “post/core” appear in your plan, the team walks you through each in everyday language.

I highly recommend Dr Garcia Lopez. He did a complete evaluation and did a good explanation showing me the condition of my oral health with details so I could understand. He also gave me options in order my needs, suggestions and recommendations so I could decide based on pros and cons on every treatment and material. I felt very comfortable in every part of the process. On My experience it only took us about 3 appointments to complete my rehabilitation, I understand that I had to be patient because I know during these years I havent been taking good control over my oral health and I am glad that I went with Dr Jonathan. Now that I understand the importance of having a good toothbrush and a proper technique I'll be visiting periodically for my dental cleanings.
I had a full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Yuri is great! Very professional, patient and understanding. Moises at the front desk is excellent at communicating with the clients. It took 6 months to complete my reconstruction and I will recommend this clinic to anyone out there.
Very good.
I had a full mouth rehabilitation with EMAX crowns. I am totally satisfied.
Dr. Yohana M. performed some fillings, cleaning, bleaching to match the required shade. Totally satisfied, I'll go back and get a crown.
