As a specialist, she has published research articles in national and international magazines and hosted conferences in several countries. Dr. Lopezgavito was the first orthodontist in Latin America to be the Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She is a member of American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontics, and Northwest Orthodontics Association. Dr. Jorge Olalde Lopezgavito finished his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Technological University in Mexico and obtained Master of Dental Science in Orthodontics at the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (UANL).
