Types of Dentures Available in Tbilisi 

There are several different types of denture, although the most common types are full and partial dentures. These both are generally comprised of an acrylic base, sometimes with metal around the framework to add support. 

The false (or replacement) teeth can be made from acrylic or porcelain, which is a more esthetically pleasing and (but expensive) option. 

While full dentures contain a whole row of teeth, partial dentures only have replacement teeth in the positions where the mouth is missing teeth; similarly, these are made from acrylic and are designed to be taken off every night before bed .

How Long Will I Need to Stay in Tbilisi for Dentures?

If your chosen clinic has its own dental lab or in-house CAD/CAM technology , dentures can normally be processed in a matter of days.

The dentist can inform you of how long you will need to stay in Georgia before you fly, although in general, you should plan for a stay of around five days.

The process will involve an initial consultation, measurements and evaluations of your mouth and a follow-up appointment for the fitting of the dentures, with any adjustments made as necessary. 

Note: In cases where extractions are required, a “healing” or “immediate” denture may be fitted, which is to be worn for several months as the gums heal.
