The Ultimate Guide to Veneers in Valencia

Introduction

Last fact-checked:  16 July 2021

Dental veneers are one of the most popular, non-invasive ways of transforming the appearance of yellowing or crooked teeth—but also one of the most expensive.

However, dentists in Valencia deliver the same high-quality treatment as you’d expect back home using reputable international brands at a fraction of the price in countries like the UK.

Find out how you can save two-thirds on your new smile when booking at one of our partner clinics in Spain.

About Dental Veneers in Valencia

Veneers are wafer-thin slivers of porcelain, ceramic, zirconia or composite material that are custom-made and cemented onto the front side of discoloured, uneven, chipped or cracked teeth.

They can be used to treat individual teeth that have suffered trauma or applied to all of the teeth visible when smiling (usually between 10–15 in total).

World-renowned veneer brands and materials used by our partner clinics in Valencia include:

  • Empress® (pressed ceramic)
  • Emax® (pressed ceramic)
  • daVinci™ (porcelain)
  • LUMINEERS® (porcelain)

Veneers can produce dazzling results; if you’ve ever wondered how the likes of Zac Effron, Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman and George Clooney have maintained such perfect teeth… well, now you know!

The main problem for people dreaming of having their own Hollywood smile is that they probably don’t earn the same Hollywood-sized paychecks as the stars, with prices full a full set of quality veneers often exceeding $20,000 or $30,000 in the US or equivariant amount in the UK, where, unfortunately, such treatment is not subsidised by the NHS.

This is why more and more people are opting to receive affordable care abroad, with savings between 50% and 70% available just a 2.5-hour flight away in Valencia.

How Long Will I Need to Stay in Valencia to Complete My Treatment? What Is Involved?

Treatment time will depend on how many veneers you plan to have and whether or not your chosen clinic has an in-house laboratory with the capacity to produce veneers, thus expediting turnaround times. In general:

  • A single veneer can be made and fitted in one or two days if the clinic has in-house manufacturing technology (minimum of two appointments).
  • A full set of veneers may take 3-5 days to be made and fitted (minimum of two appointments).
  • The time required to spend in the dentist’s chair will depend on how many teeth you are having treated.

The procedure involves a tiny layer of enamel being removed from each tooth in preparation for receiving the veneers, which may take anywhere between 30 minutes and three hours, performed using local anesthetic/sedation.

How Much Are Veneers in Valencia, Spain?
